Eszter Laszlo

Bio:

I was born and raised in Hungary, where I was initially introduced to the German language and culture. After moving to Winnipeg, Canada, I was eager to further develop my knowledge of German, so I finished my B.A in German and Classical Studies at the University of Manitoba in December 2010.

I am now pursuing my M.A. at the UBC as of September 2011.

My main research interest will be focused around the different literary understandings and interpretations of human nature and the meaning of human existence. Problematic questions of past and contemporary humans, the interrelation of ancient and modern literature, and topics of universal significance, such as das Menschsein, fascinate me.
